BRUCE MACFADYEN

Bruce’s career has been equally split between being an operator of early-stage software businesses and as an institutional investor of both private and public equities.

Bruce is currently COO of Zello, an Austin-based SaaS communications platform for frontline workers. Zello is also a portfolio company of Recurring Capital.

Prior to joining Zello, Bruce was COO of Recurring Capital where led the portfolio management and administrative functions. Prior to Recurring Capital, Bruce was COO of real estate technology company Door where he grew the company from a single metro area to a national platform. Prior to Door, Bruce was COO/CFO of Armor Cloud Security where he helped scale the business from a small startup to a global operation. Prior to Armor Bruce held a leadership role with Guardian Healthcare (acquired by Evolution Health).

On the investment side Bruce continues to serve as a board member for Blossom Street Ventures, an investment company that invests in private, early-stage software companies. He was also a principal at Atlas Capital, an investment company that invests in public equities.

Bruce received a BS in Business Systems from Taylor University, an MS in Accounting from SMU and is a CFA charterholder.
