Brian’s career spans two decades of technology entrepreneurship and investing. After beginning his career with IBM in sales and corporate development, he has gone on to found and build a number of internet and technology companies and investment partnerships.
Recently, he was EVP of Corporate Development and M&A for Upland Software (UPLD) which assembled a family of SaaS applications in the enterprise work management space. While at Upland he completed five acquisitions and was a key member of the IPO team. It was in this role that he experienced firsthand the cash flow capacity of established SaaS companies and met numerous SaaS CEO’s looking for straightforward growth capital leading him to found RCP.
Brian received a BS in Industrial Engineering from The University of Arkansas and a MBA from Harvard Business School. He is currently Chairman of the University of Arkansas GSIE/RED Campaign Arkansas Steering Committee and Founder and Chairman of Celebrate Publishing Group, a specialty publisher in Bentonville, AR. He enjoys outdoor sports, traveling with his wife Becky, and being the proud father of his three boys: Cameron, J.W. and Preston.
Trevor has experience in venture capital, institutional equity research, and investment banking across a variety of industries. Most recently, he was head of due diligence at MicroVentures, a leading equity crowdfunding platform, where he was responsible for conducting due diligence on early stage investment opportunities across a number of technology and technology-enabled verticals.
Before joining MicroVentures, Trevor was an Equity Research Associate at Cowen & Co. where he performed industry-level and company-specific fundamental research on managed care and health care services companies. Trevor started his career in investment banking where he provided strategic advisory and transaction execution, most recently at Cain Brothers, a New York-based health care focused boutique investment bank.
Trevor received a BBA in Economics from Texas Tech University. He is a CFA charterholder.
James has experience in corporate development, investment banking and direct lending across a variety of industry verticals. Most recently, James was an Associate at CrowdOut Capital, a marketplace lending platform for lower middle market companies, where he was responsible for sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining CrowdOut, James was an Analyst for Westlake Securities, a boutique investment bank based in Austin, TX, where he focused on lower middle market capital raises and M&A. James started his career with National Oilwell Varco (NYSE: NOV) where he was involved in corporate and market development as well as technology commercialization for the Completions and Production Solutions business unit.
James received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
