Jed is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Commons, a mobile messaging platform that enables customers to reach more users, drive mobile engagement, and improve conversion rates. Jed’s experience building and operating Mobile Commons has contributed to his reputation as one of the foremost authorities on mobile communications strategy. As a SaaS entrepreneur, Jed was instrumental in executing Mobile Commons’ business model and scaling the company’s messaging technology into a mobile-first communications platform with a blue-chip customer roster. Mobile Commons was acquired by Upland Software (UPLD) in 2014 where Jed is SVP and General Manager.
Jed previously served as the President of Sunshine Amalgamedia where he developed syndication sponsorship models that paired up-and-coming directors with nationally branded sponsorship and multiple distribution networks. Sunshine partners, clients, and customers have included Microsoft, Oracle, and Scripps Howard. Additionally, Jed created marketing and sponsorship programs for clients such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Pepsi and Samsung. Prior to joining Sunshine, Jed worked as an attorney, focusing his practice on entertainment and media law.

Alan has been involved with technology startups for over twenty years as an operator and senior executive. Recently he was EVP of Corporate and Business Development at Bazaarvoice (NASDAQ: BV), the global leader in SaaS based Consumer Ratings and Reviews, where he was a key member of the IPO team in 2012 and then completed two major acquisitions and one divestiture as the company doubled revenues during that period. Other notable exits include: Lombardi Software where Alan joined pre revenue and eventually sold the company to IBM in 2010; Netpliance/Tippingpoint which was acquired by 3Com and pcOrder.com which IPO’d in 1999.
Lou is a strategic, operating executive and entrepreneur. He has 25 years of experience launching and helping VC and PE backed software companies create industry leading positions that have resulted in 4 successful exits. Formerly Lou was President and COO of Magnitude Software, a leading provider of Corporate Performance Management solutions. He joined Magnitude Software from Scribe Software, where he served as CEO and a board member. During his tenure the Scribe team doubled revenue and successfully launched Scribe Online, an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).
Previously, Lou was Director, Operations and Strategy within IBM Software Group. Lou joined IBM through the acquisition of WebDialogs in 2007. The WebDialogs service became the first multi-tenant SaaS offering for IBM. As CEO, Lou was responsible for the overall strategy and growth of its online meeting solutions to service providers, equipment providers and ISVs.
Bruce is CEO of Chilon, a corporate strategy firm based in Dallas, Texas. Bruce is also active in the angel investment community through Quebus Ventures and Blossom Street Ventures, where he is Board Emeritus. Previously Bruce was an executive at cloud security company Armor Defense. During his tenure at Armor he was CFO through four investment rounds and later led the Product Lab which designed the next generation of security solutions. Prior to Armor Bruce held leadership roles at Guardian Healthcare (acquired by Evolution Health) and Atlas Capita
Craig is an experienced operating executive with over 25 years of experience in technology businesses. As Co-Founder and CEO of Solution Q, Craig oversaw the growth from an early stage venture into a leading software solution for mid-market companies across the US and Canada. Solution Q was sold to Upland Software in November of 2014. Prior to Solution Q, Craig was the President and CEO of Knowledge Alliance, an IT Services and Education company headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
More recently, Craig has provided advice and assistance to software companies looking to fuel their revenue growth through building and executing professional business development organizations. Craig is also a Managing Partner with Periscope Development Studio and an active investor.
Craig holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Western University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from York University.
Former CEO - Camilion Solutions, InSystems Corporation
Ross has over 20 years of experience building and leading companies that deliver mission critical B2B software solutions. Ross has worked with technology companies across their lifecycle, including developing strategy, sales, operations, acquisitions and strategic exits. Ross has built and strategically exited three software / SaaS companies – generating a quarter billion dollars in shareholder value and has also been actively involved in a number of acquisitions throughout his career.
Most recently, Ross had a global leadership role with SAP, the world’s largest application software company following the successful acquisition of Camilion Solutions Inc. where he was CEO. Ross was also Chair of the Advisory Board and major shareholder of Doxim Inc, a leader in customer communications software for the credit union, community bank and wealth management industries. Prior to that Ross was CEO of InSystems Corporation, a leader in regulatory document processing solutions to the financial services industry that was acquired by Standard Register in 2002. He currently serves on the board of a number of companies in the software sector.
John Pence is a native of Austin, Texas, with over 25 years of accounting, finance, operations and transaction experience serving both as a part of management and as an advisor across numerous industries (including... software, consumer products, real estate development, semiconductors, telecommunications, and manufacturing).
Most recently John helped lead the turnaround and successful sale of mobi Corp, serving on its board and acting as its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Through John’s direction, mobi implemented best in class “agile” software development techniques/disciplines while migrating from on-premises enterprise solutions to scalable “cloud based” SaaS products. Prior to joining mobi, Mr. Pence served in various senior leadership roles with Freescale Semiconductor, including Chief Financial Officer for EMEA, based in Toulouse, France. During his tenure at Freescale, Mr. Pence helped to successfully separate Motorola’s $6 billion and 25,000 employee Semiconductor Products Division through an IPO. He subsequently contributed to $11 billion of shareholder value creation as a result of the largest technology, private-equity transaction in history with a consortium led by the Blackstone Group.
In addition Mr. Pence worked for J. Baxter Brinkmann International Corporation, as SVP, responsible for leading the finance and accounting organizations of a mature group of diversified consumer products companies. He also worked for Allied Riser Communications, an early stage broadband services provider. While at Allied Riser Communications, he assisted in completing eight separate venture, IPO, debt and convertible financing transactions and four acquisitions as its VP of Corporate Finance. John began his career in the Dallas office of Arthur Anderson & Co. where his client’s ranged from small privately held development stage companies to large multinational public companies primarily in the manufacturing and high technology marketplace.
Mr. Pence has a BBA degree with honors in Accounting and Finance from The University of Texas in Austin. He is also a CPA.

He has invested on behalf of large family offices and corporations including Intel Capital and Dell Ventures. Over his career, he has worked for other leading companies including McKinsey & Company, Accenture, and Texas Instruments. Rohit is also a US patent holder in the area of social network integration with physical security.
VP of Marketing, Partnerships, and Strategy - Signal Sciences
Tyler has been involved with startups at all levels for over 25 years resulting in successful exits including two acquisitions (LURHQ - acquired by Dell / Secureworks, @Stake - acquired by Symantec), an IPO (Portal Software - PRSF), and a current technology venture tracking towards IPO (Veracode Inc.).
Previously, Tyler was a market analyst for Forrester Research covering multiple technology markets including mobile, security, and Internet of Things. He has run a successful business unit for a mobile security technology firm as well as helped mentor multiple startup executives allowing them to gain traction and eventual success. Tyler currently runs marketing, partnerships, and strategy for web security firm Signal Sciences, based in Venice Beach California. Tyler also sits on the board of a stealth tech startup as well as advisory boards for multiple technology ventures in the information security space.

Anna is passionate about building company culture, sales, and SaaS customer success.
At ion interactive, Anna led customer-facing teams which included sales, customer success, creative & technical services and product support. Her efforts focused on the people, processes and teams that made ion a growing, profitable bootstrapped marketing tech business. When ion was acquired by ScribbleLive in 2017 she co-founded Beacon9 to help technology companies chart their path forward in these same areas.

Justin Talerico is the co-founder, former CEO and CMO of martech SaaS ion interactive, which was acquired in the fall of 2017 by ScribbleLive.
Justin founded his first company—an all digital marketing communications firm—in 1992. By 1996, that business was 100% web. By 1998 it had evolved into a high-margin, tech-enabled services firm leveraging a proprietary web CMS platform for clients like Samsung and Fujitsu.
Justin and his co-founders developed and launched a SaaS marketing platform in 2007, rapidly scaling that business to #202 on the Inc 500 in 2010 with customers like Dell and DHL.
In 2015 Justin led ion interactive’s productization of sophisticated, data-driven interactive capabilities that now empowers hundreds of enterprise brands and agencies to engage, qualify and profile more web traffic. He and his co-founders successfully exited the business in 2017.
Justin is currently a co-founder, passionate writer and consultant at Beacon9—providing vision and execution for growing technology companies.
Justin was born in New York, raised in Florida, began coding at age 9, and now resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and two children. He earned a Bachelor of Science in advertising from the University of Florida.

Mike has over 35 years of executive leadership with deep expertise in the software and consulting industries. Mike has a track record of successfully scaling companies for growth and exits by developing aggressive sales strategies, partnerships and building high performing teams.
Recently, as the leader of AlignStar he grew the MRR by over 200% over two years before successfully selling the company to Vista Equity Partners. In the past, Mike lead the top line growth Vignette, a content management software company from $3.5 million to $367 million in four years creating $16B in valuation at it's peak.
Prior to Vignette, Mike had previous executive experience with Oracel, EDS, and HP.
Kelly Williams is the Founder and President of Customer Success Advisors. She has spent her career focused on the full customer experience from sales to services to customer success and has launched and led teams in all of these areas. She’s skilled at ensuring a maximum return on investment for customers and the highest revenue for her companies.
Kelly also has first hand knowledge of the pivotal role customer success plays in company valuations for capitalization exercises. She participated in the pre-acquisition due diligence of several technology companies and led the customer success integration for subsequent acquisitions.
Having been a member of leadership teams while working closely with customers she has developed a collaborative and trusted advisory style. She believes in blending the voice of the customer with realistic business objectives to set company strategy and tactical execution plans. She is passionate about bringing these experiences to her teams and to other emerging technology companies.
Kelly grew up in Oregon and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Computer Science from Oregon State University. She later received her Master’s in Finance and Management from the University of Colorado. She’s an avid hiker and a dedicated college football fan.
